The Big Idea
In Gaucher disease, hepatomegaly and splenomegaly get most of the attention. Bone disease does not, even though it is one of the most common and debilitating parts of the disease. Up to 96% of people with Gaucher show radiographic evidence of bone involvement, and it is often the least discussed.
Bone Health Matters exists to change that. The name is the message. We built the visual system around bone trabeculae, the porous internal structure that gives bone its strength, rendered as a soft, dimensional honeycomb. It reads as delicate and load-bearing at once, which is exactly the point.
The final trabeculae texture was produced in partnership with Alice Blue. From there the system carried into an HCP-facing infographic and a leave-behind flashcard.
Before landing on the final bone trabeculae direction, we explored several concepts: logo lockups, color and type systems, and template applications for Sanofi to react to.
